Manila, Philippines — SB19’s Stell recently released his new single, “CRAZY,” on August 21, 2026. Set against the backdrop of New York City, the music video and track explores the feeling of falling deeply for someone and wanting to cherish every moment with them.
When asked about his preparation for “CRAZY,” Stell shared that he initially felt both excited and nervous because he was unsure if he would be able to deliver the emotions needed for the song. For him, fully immersing himself in the emotion was essential to making the song feel genuine and allowing listeners to connect with its message.
“You really have to put yourself in that state or emotion to properly deliver the message. You have to genuinely feel the emotion so you can convey the message of the song and make the audience feel that desire for love to return.”
Beyond the emotions behind the song, Stell also opened up about the deeper meaning he hopes listeners will take away from “CRAZY.” He described love as a natural part of life, one that comes with both beautiful and painful experiences.
“I just want to tell everyone that love is a normal thing to experience. If you’re ready to love someone, you also have to be ready to get hurt. Sometimes, pain is also what teaches us and helps us understand ourselves better, especially when we go through difficult situations.”
Stell emphasized that while heartbreak and pain can be frightening, they are experiences that everyone goes through at some point in their lives. Rather than being something to fear, he believes these experiences can also become opportunities for growth.
“Love comes in all forms, so it’s normal to feel pain and sadness, and we shouldn’t be afraid of those feelings. Sometimes, I wonder if I should be thankful that I experienced heartbreak because, at the end of the day, it made me stronger. I learned a lot from that experience, and it helped me understand myself better.”
Ultimately, Stell hopes that “CRAZY” will allow listeners and fans to look back on a memorable or unexpected experience in their own lives and recognize how much they have grown from it. Through the song, he wants everyone to remember the highs, lows, unforgettable moments and simply say, “Wow, it was a crazy ride.”
